The Importance of Correctly Implementing and Maintaining Health and Safety Programs

Occupational health and safety, also known as occupational safety and health, occupational health and safety engineering, is a multi-disciplinary field dealing specifically with the health and safety of individuals at work. It is more closely related to the concept of occupational safety than safety engineering. This study has come under the observance of various health and safety management organizations that have been set up by governments and other governmental agencies. It has been found to be the best source of information regarding worker health and safety issues, thus leading to the formulation of different safety programs. It primarily deals with the identification, evaluation, implementation, and regulation of occupational health and safety rules and regulations in all workplaces.
